North Edinburgh Film Festival 2025
The third edition of the North Edinburgh Film Festival will take place on Saturday 22 February 2025 (11am – 5pm) at West Pilton Neighbourhood Centre. Presented by Screen Education Edinburgh and North Edinburgh Arts, the Festival is a day of celebrating community cinema and filmmaking in North Edinburgh. The event is being programmed and planned with and by local artists and film enthusiasts.

11:00am Film programme starts
Screen1: From North Edinburgh, 3 films from the archive
Screen 2: Short animations from around the world and local artists’ films
Changing Rooms: A ‘Rich Mix’ of film installations all day
Function Hall: Children’s drop-in workshop (Ages 5+)
Cinema Caravan: Family-friendly short films all day
12:15pm: LUNCH in the Sports Hall
1:00pm: Film programme continues
Screen 1: Short films with discussions with tea breaks around every 45 mins
