film, meet up, take part

A group of people sit around a large rectangular table in a brightly lit room, engaged in a collaborative meeting or workshop. Laptops, notebooks, drinks, and printed materials are spread across the table. Some participants are looking at a laptop screen, while others are listening or reading documents. On the far wall, a projector displays an image on a screen. The room has white walls, posters, and papers with images and notes taped to the right side.

Weekly on Wednesdays, 5:00pm – 6:30pm
Muirhouse Library

Our Film Group Meets weekly to watch, chat about and choose from a huge range of short films and animations from around the world.

Last year the group came together to select and curate films for the North Edinburgh Film Festival 2025. Plans are already under way for the NEFF26, and we’re looking for more local people to join our film selection group. It’s a fun and relaxed evening with tea, coffee, snacks, chats and, of course, films!

This group is for anyone from the local area: Muirhouse, West Pilon, West Granton, Royston & Drylaw.
We meet weekly on Wednesdays, 5:00-6:30pm at Muirhouse Library.
