New artists in the Art for Grown Ups Residency Studio

New local artists take up residence at the Art for Grown Ups Studio

We’ve recently welcomed three new local people to the Art for Grown Ups Residency Studio at North Edinburgh Arts. Our goal is to provide free, supported studio space for local adults who want to give themselves time and space to create and explore. We’re excited that this summer, our second cohort of resident artists is settling in and getting started on new projects.

Three local residents taking part this round are Allan Shaw, Ewelina Ludwiczek, and Maria Sterling. Over the coming months, they will be using the studio to develop their work, and we can’t wait to see where their creativity takes them.

The results of their residencies will be shared with the public at our exhibition at St Margaret’s House, Meadowbank, from 11–27 September 2026, so save the date and come along to see what they’ve been working on.
