North Edinburgh Arts Annual General Meeting
Saturday 11 October, 6pm
All North Edinburgh Arts Members, Neighbours, Volunteers, and Visitors are warmly welcomed to the Charity’s Annual General Meeting 2025, at 6.00pm on Saturday 11th October. This is the first AGM to be held in our venue since 2019. Please join us to celebrate the building’s completion, review activity since re-opening in April, and look towards the future. Refreshments will be served.
You may want to make an evening of it by staying for the performance of ‘We Are The Lions, Mr Manager!’ starting at 7.30pm. This is the story of the Great Grunwick Film Processing Factory Strike of 1976-8, and the inspirational strike-leader Jayaben Desai, one of many newly arrived Gujarati women workers from East Africa.
