Singin’ in the Rain (U)

A joyful tribute to the golden age of Hollywood, Singin’ in the Rain is a classic musical comedy set in 1920s Hollywood during the transition from silent films to “talkies.”
It follows movie star Don Lockwood (Gene Kelly), who struggles to adapt to sound films alongside his shallow co-star Lina Lamont, whose grating voice threatens their careers.
With the help of his best friend Cosmo (Donald O’Connor) and aspiring actress Kathy Selden (Debbie Reynolds), Don finds love and a way to save the studio’s new film.
Filled with iconic songs, dance numbers, humour and a huge dose of heart, Singin’ in the Rain is worth watching on the big screen.
