Granton Art Collective is a group of local makers living in North Edinburgh, supported by NESSie. It is a community wealth-building initiative that brings together a group of local independent artists and makers, each taking ownership of running their own business while shaping the collective’s direction. The vision is a vibrant, self-directed creative community where local people can build skills, grow confidence, reduce isolation, and develop sustainable livelihoods through the things they love to make.
North Edinburgh Support Services (NESSie) is a partnership between four local organisations – North Edinburgh Arts, Fresh Start, Spartans Community Foundation, and Move On. Guided by a Human Learning Systems approach, we provide flexible, person-led 1-to-1 support. Our role is to create the conditions for the creativity to thrive, supporting people in ways that genuinely reflect their lives, strengths, and ambitions.
