Join our resident yoga teacher, Stephanie Knight, for yoga classes and meditation sessions suitable for all levels of experience. Stephanie is a Classical Hatha Yoga Teacher and a Yoga Master in Transformational Integral Hatha Yoga.
Gentle Yoga/Chair Yoga (Mondays 4.30pm – 6pm) – online class
Chair Yoga (Wednesdays, 4.30pm – 5.30pm) – online class
This class is for people who enjoy gentle, therapeutic movement, pranayama (breath exercises), relaxation and meditation. It’s especially beneficial for people who are recovering from injury, live with disabilities, have limited movement, and who just want to take things gently. Each week builds on the achievements of the previous week, and of course, everyone is welcome.
Gentle Yoga/Beginners Yoga (Thursdays,5pm – 6pm) – online class
Relaxation and Meditation (Thursdays, 7pm – 8.15pm) – online class
Gentle stretch, pranayama and guided meditation session.
These classes will be offered in a series of six classes, focusing on specific areas of practice. The first series will be on Thursday evenings 26 August – 30 September. This series will focus on different approaches to Meditation and how to find approaches that support you and develop your practice.
Yoga Class (General Level) Saturdays 10.30am – 12(noon) – in person class held at North Edinburgh Arts – resuming on 28th August
This yoga class includes warm-up, asana, pranayama, relaxation and meditation. Everyone is welcome as all asanas are adapted to suit your level of ability and learning.
Cost: £5 (Full)/£3 (Concession)

Stephanie has created this easy-to-follow online yoga session for anyone who would like to do it in their own time. We hope that you’ll enjoy and share with anyone who might be interested.
For this session, you’ll need: a chair, a dressing gown belt/yoga belt, tennis ball, blanket for relaxation and a bottle of water.
